Using My Own Fonts (System Fonts)

Currently, the ability to use system fonts is not available in Design & Print Online, but you can add text as an image in our program. This article will show you how to capture an image of your text on Windows, Apple Mac, and in Microsoft PowerPoint. Windows Snipping Tool
  • Type your text in your preferred word processing program in the desired font style

  • Select the Windows Start button on your taskbar

  • In the search, type Snipping Tool and select it from the list of results

  • The Snipping Tool window will appear on your screen. Select New

  • Your screen will gray out a little and your cursor will turn into a plus sign

  • You will then click and drag your mouse across the text to capture it as an image

  • Once the image is captured, select Save in the Snipping Tools window (this will be a floppy disc icon), or select File and Save As

  • Save the image to your desktop or somewhere where you can access this image on the computer

  • You can now select Image and Add Image in the Customize screen of Design & Print Online and upload your text as an image from your computer onto your template. You can resize and move this on the template like any other image

Design & Print Offline

If you have Design & Print Offline installed on your desktop computer, you can still use system fonts through that software. This software is being retired soon and will no longer be updated or supported. We highly recommend switching to our free Avery Design & Print Online software.  Here is a link to the download offline:  https://www.avery.com/software/design-and-print/desktop
  • Open your desktop (downloaded) version of Design & Print
  • Begin a new project or if you have one open go to Step #3 (Customize)
  • Add a Text Box if you do not already have one. (You can do this by clicking on T- Text to the left of the screen,  then Add Text Box)

  • Click and drag your cursor over the text inside the box to highlight
  • Go to the left of the page under the 'Text' Heading
