The Safari update in January 2021 made the Download button for PDF files not work on iPads running older versions of Safari. You can update to the new version of Safari here:
https://support.apple.com/safari
If you are using Safari version 13 or higher, you can create the PDF file in Design & Print and download the PDF file after you've Found and Created a project:
- Open Acrobat and tap Locations at the top left
- Select Browse more files and select Downloads
- You will see your PDF
- Tap on the image of the PDF to open, then click on the 3 dots at the top right
- Select the Print option from the drop-down menu and the Print dialog will open
- If you don't have a printer set up, close the PDF and save the original file in your Avery account to open later from a desktop or laptop computer.
If you are using Chrome, do not print directly from the web page that the PDF opens in, as the print function in Chrome on iPads is limited.
- Instead, click at the bottom right Open in... and choose Acrobat. You may need to sign up for an Acrobat account, but you need it for successful printing.
- The other option is to use the square icon with an arrow pointing up that's at the top right of the screen to email the pdf to a desktop or laptop computer that can print.
For best results, we recommend opening the PDF in a PDF-viewing app with printer capability. For example, we would recommend the Adobe Acrobat app. Kindle or Gmail do not have the appropriate printing features.
Some printer manufacturers also provide their own printer-specific apps which can print PDF files, so check your printer manufacturer for more information about that. Please note that the Avery Care Center would not be able to provide assistance with those apps.
