Microsoft Word Change Text Alignment (Windows Only)

Sometimes, when you open a template in Microsoft Word (MS Word), its default setting types your text in an undesired spot—i.e. the text is not aligned correctly.

For example, you might want your text to start appearing in the top-left corner of your label, but your template is set up to type it in the center:

  1. Left-click on the small + symbol near the top-left corner of your first label.

  1. Right-click on the small + symbol near the top-left corner of your first label.

  2. Click on Table Properties.
  3. Select the Cell tab.
  4. Select the desired vertical alignment and click OK.

Changing Horizontal Alignment

  1. Click inside one of the labels.
  2. Hold down [CTRL] on your keyboard, and while holding that down, tap [A] once to select all content.
  3. Select the Home tab in the top-left corner.
  4. Use these 3 buttons to align text to the left, center, or right:

Changing Vertical Alignment

  1. Right-click on the small + symbol near the top-left corner of your first label.
