Create Shipping Labels with Avery Design & Print

  1. Start at avery.com/templates or click on the Templates tab on avery.com
  2. Type in the Avery product number, found on the front of the package
  3. Click the Start Designing button and sign in to your Avery account or create a free Avery account where you can easily save and access your projects
  4. On the Choose Design page, select a blank or pre-designed template to customize
  5. On the Customize screen stay on Edit All until finishing the overall design for your project
  6. Use the options on the left for adding the return address and images (if you want to import addresses from a spreadsheet, see our information on mail merge)
  7. Change the font style and size by highlighting the text and then using the options in the Text menu
  8. Add another text box for the shipping address and format some placeholder text
  9. When the label design is how you want it, switch to Edit One in the Navigator on the upper right of the screen (the outline will appear just around the label you will be working on)
  10. Type your first address into the placeholder text box, then click in the Navigator to choose the next label and type your next address in
  11. To add a sheet, just click near the bottom of the Navigator and use the dropdown to move to the new sheet, which will have the same formatting as your first label
  12. Type in all your addresses, then click the Preview & Print button to see the full page view of your project
  13. Click Print it Yourself and Get PDF to Print (be sure to Save)
