Can't Change Color of Background in Design & Print Online

It is possible that the background color might be added as a Shape. You can change a Shape color by selecting it on the template and changing the Fill color. You will see that option on the left side of the customize screen after selecting More and Shapes.

It may be that it is a background image that was added. If this is the case, you will want to do the following:
  • Select the image on the template and select Unlock Background on the left side
  • Then select Change Color and choose the color you want. Your cursor will turn into a paint bucket
  • Now select part of the image you want to change the color of
  • You will want to use the white circles around the image to resize it to fit the template again
  • Finally, select Arrange at the top of customize and select Send to Back
 If you still cannot change the background color, it could be possible that the project was created in an older version of our Design & Print Online software. We would recommend downloading the offline version of Design & Print and try opening the project through there to see if it allows you to change the background color.
