Debbie Mast knew she had something special when her homemade baked donuts were a hit at parties. Friends and party-goers would constantly ask her to make them for their upcoming events. As demand grew, Mast decided to open her own Etsy shop to make ordering her donuts easier. Soon, Green Mountain Mini Baked Donuts were a hit.
What makes them different?
First, they’re adorable and they bring an instant smile to everyone’s face. Second, they’re three little bites of baked-donut heaven thanks to local Vermont ingredients and unique toppings that deliver deliciousness. And because they’re baked and not fried, they can be stored for up to a week.
During the holiday crush, Debbie designs her own holiday-themed branding and ingredient labels. She was able to take a design created by an agency and personalize it with the holiday designs from Avery. Mast uses Avery WePrint for all her branding and ingredient labels. She also uses Avery blank labels, which she can print from home in a pinch if she runs out.
“I am so happy with Avery WePrint labels,” said Debbie. “I was using a different company, but decided to try Avery, and I love them. I love how you can customize all the finishes and I will continue to use them from this day forward.”
For other businesses just getting off the ground that are trying to create branding labels, Mast offers up some great advice.
“Play around on avery.com,” she said. “There are so many ideas and examples. Just see what works best for your business.”
