Account Care Specialist
My name is Monique and I’m an Account Care Specialist for Avery WePrint. I’ve lived in Southern California my entire life, growing up in Ontario and Chino as the youngest of four siblings.
Now, I have a 15-going-on-30-year-old son, who of course knows everything. But I constantly preach my life’s motto to keep him in line, “treat others the way you want to be treated.”
When I’m away from Avery…
In my free time, I like spending time with family and friends. But I don’t have a lot of free time.
When I’m not working in the Avery office, I like to work as a beer server for the LA Fairplex in Pomona, which takes up many of my nights and weekends. I’m very fortunate to be able to see and experience all the different events held there such as the LA Fair, which is one of the biggest in the country. I also love the LA Grand Roadster Show where they showcase the most gorgeous, fully restored, oldie-but-goodie cars.
But by far, my favorite event to work is the NHRA races. Being able to see, hear and feel the cars as they race by my bar is definitely an experience like no other. I love cars and racing.
My guilty pleasure is watching the Kardashians. Not only are they beautiful women, but they are smart businesswomen.
When I’m at work…
My former boss at a telemarketing company introduced me to Avery. I had never heard of Avery before and I didn’t know how complex a label truly was. But with the knowledge I’ve gained along the way from some great mentors, I have grown into a label expert myself.
I love the people that I work with. We are like one big family. The willingness of management and my coworkers to provide me the tools I need to help me grow feels like I have a career for the first time in my life.
I started in the call center and grew from there. I love helping others, being approachable and giving 110%. My job here is to help companies, big or small, make their product labels come to life providing the best option based on their needs. I help our Amazon Transparency customers and guide them through the process of ordering their labels. I provide them with a better understanding of how to register, place their order and reorder their Transparency labels when the need to.
I also like helping Transparency customers save money with our design-in labels where we combine your Transparency labels directly onto your product labels so extra over-labels aren’t needed.
